While the internet provides a wealth of useful knowledge and information, it can also be a portal to inappropriate and malicious content. Bob Jones Academy had invested in a top grade web filtering and monitoring software that works across the internet so that no matter where the Chromebook is taken, protection and accountability will be in place. 


The product we currently use is GoGuardian. It uses an AI system with categories such as pornography, entertainment, online streaming video, and many others that allow websites to be blocked that fall within them. All activity is logged on each Chromebook and certain activity deemed inappropriate or dangerous is automatically flagged and alerts the administration. We take each student's protection and digital citizenship very seriously. It is our goal to help parents in their efforts to chart a course avoiding the pitfalls of the internet that will help each student be most successful in their journey to follow Christ.
